John Pollaro, CPA
John has over 25 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant. After graduating from Cal Poly Pomona, he began his career with Arthur Andersen, where he specialized in technology, manufacturing, real estate, distribution and entertainment industries. He has worked with privately owned companies and their owners to increase their operational efficiency, minimize their tax burdens and plan for succession and estate matters.
John specializes in tax, audit and accounting issues with a broad background in financial and management accounting. His number one goal in serving his clients is to always give people more than they expect. In the community, John served as President and Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Del Amo in Torrance, CA.
Meg Markaryan, CPA
Meg received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Fullerton and has been with Pollaro & Associates since 2014. She is an accounting professional with over 20 years of experience in public accounting and private practice.
Meg’s practice areas include audit, review and tax and her current engagements include not for profit entities, wholesale distribution, construction, real estate, manufacturing and employee benefit plans. She is also fluent in Japanese.
Matthew Pollaro, EA
Matt joined Pollaro & Associates in 2014 as an intern while beginning college. After completing his Master’s program at Cal State Fullerton, Matt received his Enrolled Agent (EA) license and is experienced in both individual, trust and business tax preparation, small business accounting, and IRS correspondence.
Cathy Lund, Accountant & Tax Professional
Cathy has been with Pollaro & Associates since the firm began in 2013. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Fullerton and has worked in the accounting and taxation fields for more than 25 years. Cathy specializes in the preparation of financial statements and tax preparation for individuals, Trusts, S-Corporations, Corporations and Partnerships.
Mandy Edwards, Marketing/Webmaster
Mandy Edwards is the owner of ME Marketing Services, a social media marketing company that provides social media consulting, management and coaching to businesses. A graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, Mandy has 20+ years of sales & marketing experience. Mandy is a writer for the Southern C. Locally, she is involved in the Lynda Brannen Williamson Foundation, Ibis Foundation, The Boro Blue Mile Initiative, and Professional Women of Statesboro. Mandy was named to the Statesboro Herald’s Top 20 Under 40 for 2013 and was one of the University of Georgia’s Top 40 Alumni Under 40 in 2016.
